This User Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of the GetCashback.ai Browser Extension (the "Extension"), operated by The Company. By installing or using the Extension, you ("User") agree to the terms below.
GetCashback.ai is built from the ground up as a privacy-first cashback assistant.
All core functionality runs locally in your browser browser. You stay in control of your data at all times.
The Extension injects a lightweight widget when you visit supported offer provider websites. This widget reads publicly available offer information after you log in to those websites. Offer data is stored locally in your browser.
Security Assurances:
When you open the Extension, your saved offers are loaded directly from your browser’s local storage.
On first use, you’ll be asked to provide your email address. The only information sent to The Company's servers is:
When you ask the AI to analyze redemption terms, the Extension may pass the following limited information directly to third-party APIs for analysis:
This data is used solely to retrieve additional details—such as merchant website or store location—to interpret redemption conditions. The Company does not collect or store this information, and analysis results are returned and stored locally in your browser for offline use.
When you redeem an offer or visit a qualifying merchant, reminders are triggered from locally stored data.
You may export all locally stored offers via the Extension. The Company does not store or have access to this data.
The Extension may request access to your current location solely to display a map of nearby merchants for in-store redemptions. This information is used directly in the browser and is never stored, tracked, or transmitted by The Company.
This Agreement governs your access and use of the GetCashback.ai Browser Extension. By installing or using the Extension, you agree to comply with its terms.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Extension for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

All communication with The Company's servers uses HTTPS. Most data stays local. Anything sent is minimal and only user-triggered.
The Company and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or special damages, including:
The Company is not responsible for missed cashback rewards, inaccurate offer data, or any damages resulting from your use of the Extension.
Offer availability, eligibility, and accuracy are determined solely by third-party merchants or offer providers and are subject to change without notice.
The Extension is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Company, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Extension, your violation of this Agreement, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
The Company may update this Agreement. Material changes will be communicated in the Extension or via email. Continued use means acceptance.
The Company may suspend or terminate your access for violations or legal/security concerns.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Santa Clara County, California.
