This User Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of the GetCashback.ai Website (the "Site"), Browser Extension (the "Extension"), and Mobile App (the "App"), as well as the Ask Max AI assistant (collectively, the "Services"), operated by The Company. By accessing, installing, or using any of the Services, you ("User") agree to the terms below. For more details, please see: Website, Browser Extension Help, Mobile App Help, and Ask Max Help.
GetCashback.ai is built from the ground up as a privacy-first cashback assistant.
All core functionality to collect and link offers to your accounts runs locally in your browser (for the Extension), and on your device (for the App). You stay in control of your data at all times.
Extension: A lightweight widget runs when you visit supported provider sites, reading offer data after login, and storing it locally in your browser.
Mobile App: Built-in browsing features let you view and link offers after login, with data stored only on your device.
Ask Max is an AI assistant trained specifically for GetCashback.ai, available across the Website and App. It enables you to:
When interacting with Ask Max: messages you send, Max’s responses, and relevant offer data are processed to answer your request. Ask Max does not know your identity, email, account credentials, transaction history, or passwords, and does not access which offers you’ve linked unless you explicitly provide that context.
When using AI features—either Ask Max or other analysis tools—the Service may send minimal context (e.g. merchant name, spend amount, offer terms) to The Company's servers or trusted AI providers strictly to fulfill your request. No sensitive login credentials are ever shared. Analysis results are stored locally (Extension/App) or remain within your active session (Website).

On first use, you may be asked for your email address. The only data transmitted to The Company’s servers are:
Redemption reminders run locally (Extension/App). Location access may be requested when you opt in—only to display nearby merchants on a map. That location data is never stored or transmitted beyond your device.
You may export your locally stored offers anytime from the Extension or App. The Company does not store or access your personal offer data.
This Agreement governs your access and use of the Website, Browser Extension, Mobile App, and Ask Max AI Assistant. By accessing or using any of these, you agree to comply with its terms.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

The Company does not sell or share personally identifiable information.
All communication with The Company's servers uses HTTPS. Most data stays local or session-based. Analytics data and anonymous Ask Max messages are stored in secure systems with access restricted to authorized personnel for product improvement purposes. Anything sent is minimal, aggregated where possible, and only user-triggered.
The Company and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or special damages, including:
The Company is not responsible for missed cashback rewards, inaccurate offer data, or any damages resulting from your use of the Services.
Offer availability, eligibility, and accuracy are determined solely by third-party merchants or offer providers and are subject to change without notice.
The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Company, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services, your violation of this Agreement, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
The Company may update this Agreement. Material changes will be communicated through the Website, Extension, App, or via email. Continued use means acceptance.
The Company may suspend or terminate your access for violations or legal/security concerns.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Santa Clara County, California.
The Services are independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any bank, credit card issuer, merchant, or cashback program provider whose offers may be displayed. All trademarks, logos, and product names are the property of their respective owners.
Offer details shown in the Services are based on publicly available information or information you have linked to your account. The Company does not claim ownership of this content, and availability, terms, and accuracy are determined solely by the original provider.
When you choose to link or view offers from a third-party provider, you are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with that provider’s terms and policies. The Company does not bypass authentication systems or access restricted content without your permission.
If a provider requests that its offers not be displayed, the Company may remove or disable access to such content without notice. Continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified availability.
